K.A.N.G. interviu "EMPTY KOFOLA distro" prieš jų turą

1. Hey guys, for starts, I would like to know, how many tours have you made before you visit us, and what places you have been since you've started playing ? You can type some "bigger" names, with which have you been playing on the podium...

This tour we had three more: two bigger ones around Europe(Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Serbia, Romania, Ukraine) , and one in Baltic states. We also took part in such festivals as "Noborderfest" in Romania, "Zvera" in Latvia, "Mauntainrock", "Antipops" and in one of the biggest DIY open air festivals "Padarom" in Lithuania.

2. Introduce yourselves, you know, that everyday stuff, what are you doing to survive, what are you doing in the free time, hobbys etc...

Like other people we work to survive. Our all hobby is one and the same - music. But it's more of a lifestyle, than a hobby, actually

3. Tell us something about your city Kaunas. How is it working out there ? Write some interresting band/activities from this location... What shouldn't a "punk tourist" miss there ?

Bands from Kaunas city, that should really be heard are Definsect (crust punk), Anarres (crust/emo) and Šlanga į gamtą (ska/indie/punk). There is a DIY center on the edge of Kaunas, it's called "Pabrik". Concerts are being arranged there quite often, you can play table tennis, or just hang out with your friends. But if you have an opportunity - don't stop in Kaunas J

4. I have the feeling, from your photos, that you are really tough guys, that went through some tougher stuff... Do you remember the times, when Lithuania was a part of the Soviet Union ? Did you have some HC/PUNK bands in those times ? Was it hard to get records from this kind of bands or bands from the abroad ?

When Lithuania belonged to soviet union, the oldest members of the band were only thirteen or fourteen years old, at that time the music they were listening to was thrash metal. Such thing as punk/hc stage didn't even exist here. Situation was the same with geting recors, you could only get the popular bands LP (sex pistols, exploited). Later, when Lithuania became independent getting the music you want became easier, but not easy. the punk/hc stage began to build itself.

5. It seems, that you are also good friends with the tattoo needle. When did you have your first tattoo and what was it ? What are your favourite motives ? Have the tattoos some deeper sense ? Or is it like that a "true" hardcore band can't work without tattoos ? :)

First one was made in 1996. Nice one. As nice as can be made by friend, who had done two tattoos in a lifetime. (the first one he made was his own).

6. You have some other records except your debut "Unstoppable"? What are your plans for the future ?

Yes we have, at the moment it's in our myspace profile, it's made by us in our rehersal studio. We're planning to get the lacking equipment until autumn to make more quality records also in our studio.

7. You have on your profile between your interrests "streetfights". Can you describe this hobby for us ? With who have you the most clashes ? Is it involved with football and hooligans ?

It's not what we're interested in, it's something that inspires us. We also don't like vodka that much. P.s but sometimes in pubs things just happen.

8. This would be the end. I'm looking forward to meet you on 12. march and I wish you good luck on the roads. If you have something to add, please be free to write it...
